Precalculus or calculus are required in 4 units of mathematics, and 3 units of physical science with labs (including 1 unit of physics) are required in 3 units. Chemistry is recommended. Each fall, we welcome about 380 new students to our College of Engineering.
Candidates who may be eligible for other URI programs but are not admitted to the College of Engineering may request consideration for admission to another major on a space-available basis.
URI offers a zero-to-six program in Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D. ). If your application is accepted, you will be admitted immediately to the Pharmacy. D. program as a first-year student. Admission to Pharm. D. is selective and open to first-year students only.
