- Giorgio Armani Born in Italy Years 1934-. Giorgio Armani, an Italian fashion designer, is 89 years old. His occupations include fashion designer and entrepreneur. He first rose to fame by working for Cerruti, then for a number of other companies, such as Allegri, Bagutta, and Hilton. In 1975, he founded his business, Armani, which later expanded into the music, sports, and luxury hotel industries.
