Rocky Vista University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine offers four years of full-time academic and clinical programs. Preclinical studies using case-based learning are conducted on campus for the first two years, and then there are two years of clinical training.

The competency-based medical education model is used to teach the PA program at Rocky Vista University. The learner will transition from foundational concepts to clinically oriented content during the first two semesters (Didactic Phase). The following five semesters (Clinical Phase) are devoted to helping the student reach the status of “competent” for each of the 13 entrustable professional activities.

The Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences program lasts nine months and consists of thirty semester hours. Students from various backgrounds and life experiences have the chance to strengthen their biomedical science education, develop their critical thinking abilities, and get ready for careers in the health sciences through the program.
