The average Visiting Student is recommended to receive 18 U. S. semester credits over 12 to 13 weeks of rigorous academic work, assuming the regular tutorial schedule is followed

The accompanying cover letter will be on the student’s Oxford college letterhead and will be signed by the tutor for visiting students at that specific college, just as visiting student transcripts are sent by the student’s Oxford college. A hard copy of the transcript is then sent to the student’s permanent address as well as their home university’s registrar, usually 5 to 7 weeks after the end of the term.
The study abroad office and academic division of your home campus must both give their consent before you leave in order for the credits you earn through OSAP to count toward the degree at your home campus. The entire responsibility for this credit transfer approval process rests with the student.
