Are You a Transfer Student?
We welcome transfers to IC. You can apply to IC as a transfer student if you meet the requirements:
- You received a high school diploma (or its equivalent); and
- Afterwards, you obtained nine or more college credits, or you enrolled full-time at a different university.
What to Know before You Apply
Transfer applicants can submit an application for IC’s fall or spring admission. Applicants’ college and high school academic records are used to review their applications. Learn more about supporting documentation requirements for transfer applicants.
We regret that we are unable to take transfer requests for the occupational therapy or physical therapy programs at IC into consideration.
For college-level courses taken at a regionally accredited college or university with a grade of C- or higher, transfer credit is typically given. Ithaca College reserves the right to not grant transfer credit for courses deemed unacceptable after evaluating each course individually.
The Office of the Registrar website has more information on articulation and transfer credit agreements.
