Georgetown Medical School offers a variety of programs to potential students, including a conventional M D. and multiple dual degree programs, including M. D. /Ph. D. , M. D. /M. P. H. along with several other dual degree programs

The Doctor of Medicine degree, or M. D. program, based on a four-year curriculum, is offered by Georgetown Medical School and aims to combine educated physicians with general professional education. In order to produce clinical, scientific, professional, and “high touch” competencies, the Georgetown community offers an education that is guided by skills, knowledge, and values.

Georgetown Medical School provides the M.S. in Biomedical Research for students interested in a career in medical research. D. /Ph. D. program. Students in this program finish their first two years of medical school, with summer research rotations. Students perform Ph between the third and sixth years of school. D. Graduate programs at Georgetown Medical School conduct research in a lab on campus.

In addition to the M. D. and M. D. /Ph. D. in dual degree programs, Georgetown Medical School provides students with a number of opportunities.

M.D./M.B.A.

To be considered for the M. D. /M. B. A. Students must apply to and be accepted into the Georgetown Medical School and School of Business for a dual degree program. The first three years of this dual degree program are spent at Georgetown Medical School, and the final year is spent at the McDonough School of Business. Students complete a Global Business Experience during their fifth and last year of the program.

M.D./M.P.H.

Georgetown Medical School offers the MPH in Public Health in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the largest school of public health in the world. D. /M. P. M.D./M.S.

M.D./M.A.L.S. in Ethics and Professionalism

M.D./M.A. or Ph.D. in Philosophy
