What you need to know about Early Decision:

  • Application commitment is binding
  • You may only apply to one school Early Decision
  • If accepted, all other colleges and universities must receive a request to withdraw your application.
  • Students, parents/guardians, and the application form all sign the Early Decision Agreement.
  • A non-refundable $500 enrollment deposit is required by January 10
  • You cannot defer admission under Early Decision

Academically gifted students can benefit from exciting benefits offered by the Elon Fellows programs, including unique courses, guaranteed internships, paid research assistantships, faculty mentoring, grants for study abroad, and scholarships. When the Fellows invitation is extended in early February, students who have been chosen for the Fellows competition will be informed of their admissions decision.
