- Complete the “A-G” (college preparatory) subject requirements successfully with a grade of C- or higher. Any credit/pass grades you received for A-G courses you took from winter 2020 through summer 2021 will be accepted as meeting this requirement due to the pandemic. You must enroll in A-G courses for a letter grade starting in the fall of 2021 and receive at least a C-. Mathematics: 3 yearsEnglish: 4 years (4 years recommended, but not necessary) Algebra, geometry and intermediate algebra. Social Science/History: 2 years. Including 1 year U. S. history or U. S. history and government. Science: 2 years. 1 year of biology with a lab and 1 year of physics with a lab Foreign Language: Two years in the same language, with the possibility of a waiver for candidates who can demonstrate equivalent proficiency. Visual and Performing Arts: 1 year. Art, dance, drama/theater or music. Electives: 1 year.
