Students change paths for many reasons. If you attended a different college than Bryn Mawr, you can still apply as a transfer student.
Transfer students are those who have enrolled full-time for at least one semester at another institution. Up to 16 units of coursework—usually courses in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences—can be brought in by transfer students. A transfer student must attend Bryn Mawr for at least two years, full-time. Upon entry, residency is established based on the number of units transferred. Learn more about our transfer credit policy.
While we try our best to house transfer students on campus, housing is not guaranteed. We will address each students request on a case-by-case basis.
You are a first-year student if you participated in a dual enrollment program and took college courses while still in high school.
Nontraditional students are those who are 24 years of age or older and have either taken or not taken college courses.
